ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3080 Ti AMP HoloBlack Review - Highly Recommended

 It seems Zotac favored low temperatures over noise levels. I would like a better balance. What really helped Zotac with their cooler is that the card operates very efficiently. Unlike other cards, there is no loss in energy efficiency vs. the NVIDIA reference design. Actually, the Zotac has better efficiency than NVIDIA's FE, which means less heat output and the cooler not having to work as hard to get rid of the heat. To put things into perspective, the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra consumes 436 W during gaming and the MSI Suprim X 405 W, while the Zotac RTX 3080 Ti makes do with 348 W. These 50 W are almost 15%, which a big difference when cooling is considered. With Ampere, NVIDIA introduced idle fan stop on their Founders Edition, which makes fan stop a mandatory capability for custom designs, too. In idle, during desktop work, internet browsing, and light gaming, the Zotac RTX 3080 Ti will turn off its fans completely for the perfect noise-free experience.

Esta gráfica nos ha dejado muy buen sabor de boca, Zotac tiene un gran producto en forma de tarjeta compacta y potente, silenciosa pero elegante, que tiene como único defecto la posición de los conectores de alimentación, que son un poco incomodos. Como no vamos a estar montándola y desmontándola todo el día no creo que este pequeño problema deba echar para atrás a ningún jugador convencido de lo equilibrado del nuevo chip RTX 3000 de Nvidia.

ZOTAC as well submitted a sample for review. This round they've send out the AMP edition in the color white. The cooler shall and backplate are white, albeit the backplate has a bit of a yellowish tint through it. As you can see the dual-fan spinner design makes the card really compact. Based on an advertised 170W TGP  the card is of course paired with 12GB GDDR6 graphics memory at 192-bit running at 15 Gbps. It is a more simplified-looking product that comes with a decent factory tweak, making it perform a few percent above reference/baseline performance. Dual refers towards the cooler with its duo of spinners. The card has two (6+2) pin power headers, unfortunately, tucked away deep inside the cooling bracket, which makes them difficult to access. Armed with a BIOS that offers an 1867 MHz Turbo (1780 MHz = reference). Let's have a look at how well the product performs.

Zotac designed a good card with the AMP White Edition. It not only looks good, but also comes with a very capable cooler, especially considering it's dual-slot only. ZOTAC gave their card a large factory overclock to 1867 MHz rated boost, which turns into an average clock frequency of 1926 MHz when measured across our whole gaming test suite. The other cards tested today aren't much different: EVGA tops out at 1911 MHz (rated 1852 MHz), Palit at 1928 MHz (rated 1875 MHz), and MSI at 1905 MHz (rated 1852 MHz). These differences are tiny indeed.

When taking everything into consideration, the Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity is future proof that will be able to manage most of the next-generation games that launch in the coming years. The 24GB VRAM is definitely an overkill but then again it may just be enough for the next few years. Since most of the new consoles don't have enough anywhere close to the VRAM such as the RTX 3090, you don’t have to worry about games that won’t run easily on this GPU. Having said that, the Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity does cost Rs 1.5 Lakh which could be a huge investment at the moment. If you are looking for the ultimate 4K experience, this GPU will definitely deliver the goods however if you look at performance per rupee; the RTX 3080 GPU is a better deal to consider for now.

La Zotac GeForce RTX 3070 AMP Holo es una de las tarjetas más originales en cuanto a diseño que podemos encontrar en el mercado, pues el carenado holográfico que ostenta la hace especialmente llamativa. Puede gustar o no, pero al menos no deja de ser distinta y ofrecer otras posibilidades. Además, dicho disipador se comporta a la perfección, con buenas temperaturas y sonoridad contenida.
