When it comes to gaming, the Zotac Amp Holo finds itself in good company with the rest of the RTX 3080 line-up. Thanks to GPU Boost, most RTX cards, whether they’re Founders Editions or not, will offer similar levels of performance, but the card still turned in impressive results. Across every resolution, the card delivered excellent frame rates of 60 FPS or more on Ultra settings and ray tracing turned on. The only exception is Total War: Three Kingdoms which is a system crusher at Ultra settings, stopping even the RTX 3090 from topping 55 FPS in my testing.

Thanks to its small and compact size, it would be an ideal graphics card for small form factor builds. Its aesthetics and color scheme is quite neutral as well. And the graphics card feels solid overall, thanks to its metal backplate.

Sin embargo, sus compactas dimensiones con tan solo 232 mm de largo, hacen que el disipador no sea tan eficiente y nos encontremos con una sonoridad algo elevada frente a otros modelos, aunque sin llegar a poder considerarla ruidosa.

The ZOTAC RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC features a dual-fan 100mm cooler that is not just effective in cooling but also very quiet. Ultimately, its the size and look that’s going to be the deciding factor for most users. With its shorter PCB length, it’s definitely an easy fit for most cases but its extra wide cooler makes it pop out and any case that can’t handle a 150mm cooling tower will definitely not handle this card. The reason is that the PCIe power cables makes this card protrude more so if you’re not fine tucking in cables towards to the back, you’re going to have the space to make those PCIe power cables flow. For ITX case owners, you’re going to have to be really familiar with your case on what dimensions it can fit since the length support may be fine but the width support will most likely be the problem. This will obviously be reduced by using a vertical riser. A bit of note though, I’m not trying to say this card is huge but the official photos are quite not conclusive to base size on due to the fact that its a twin-fan cooler and a shorter PCB, many could assume its a smaller card.

The Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC may be more of an entry-level model, but it’s clear that it still has some serious hardware at its core. It’s still got the same chipset as the big boys, but just doesn’t quite have the same boost or cooling performance. However, despite that, it was still going head to head in most of our gaming benchmarks. Overall, it was a few FPS off the more performance-focused RTX 3070s.

The Zotac GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC brings with it a wafer-thin value addition over the NVIDIA reference design (if there is such a thing). This card is targeted at those sold on the stock performance numbers and baseline pricing of the RTX 3070, those who don't really care about RGB bling or card looks all that much and just want an RTX 3070 card they can install and forget about. This is an approach to the performance segment Zotac perfected over the years, and the fact that the Twin Edge OC is the company's fastest RTX 3070 offering speaks volumes—Zotac isn't interested in trying to sell you $600 RTX 3070s.
